New liver cancer leaflet

The British Liver Trust has put the new liver cancer leaflet that I helped review on their website at
http://www.britishlivertrust.org.uk/home/the-liver/liver-diseases/liver-cancer.aspx

Once on the site you can click on 'Download Liver Cancer LCZ 0311.pdf' to view.

It's even in one of my favourite colours!

They've kindly sent me multiple copies and some other leaflets to take to my GP surgery.

Tuesday
Cleaned out woodburner.
Spent some time squished behind the TV cabinet sorting out a tangle of plugs and cables. TV plug, aerial cable, freeview box plug, DVD plug, CD plug, ipod docking plug, Xbox plug. Abdomen a bit sore for a while later, but not too bad and no stiffness

  1. Well Done Fiona,

Anything that raises awareness can only be a good thing.

How's the aches/pains at the moment?

  2. Thanks Carole.
They included their publications guide for me to leave with the doctor which has stuff on awareness as well as patient guides. The cancer guide is more like a book, it's 47 pages long. And only 40p - amazing!

A problem with liver disease is you feel fine on the outside whilst things are going rotten within. TV programme last night, 'Junior Doctors' (I'm a glutton for punishment) had some good adverts for why not to binge drink.

Aches have subsided to barely noticeable. So perhaps the doc is right and they are unconnected to the liver disease. Or.... maybe the Vit D kicked in, lol! Having a series of good days is giving my confidence a boost re taking on more work and also taking little holiday 'away days' again. Hope to get back to some gentle sport once I've got the dreaded gastroscopy over.
